Villa San Miguel (cont.) More:1 2 3 4
Highlighting how incredibly special the Tampa Bay region is, we wanted to construct a building that referenced, revealed and revered the environment of which it is a part. The Grand Windows of Villa San Miguel yield a bounty of natural light while framing the radiance of the ever-changing Tampa cloudscapes and renowned electrical storms. Equally as important, it celebrates the elegance of the Sunset Park's people, flora, fauna and tree canopies.
The Building and Construction
Villa San Miguel is made of solid block with steel beams and columns. It was built with the environment in mind, by recycling and using energy efficient products and design applications during construction. Donations of extra materials were given to the Tampa Crossroads, a non-profit that helps folks to make a fresh start at life.
The building is pre-wired for security, telephone, cable and surround sound options. Both floors consist of 3.5" wide solid oak and interior doors and windows that rise eight and nine feet tall. The First Floor welcomes entrants with 12-foot tall ceilings and a series of warm spaces, including a Grand Room, Library or possible Fourth Bedroom, Full Bathroom and Kitchen. The Second Floor includes 10-foot tall ceilings, Two Bedrooms, a Full Bath, and the Laundry Facility. It also includes the Master Suite, which consists of a Bedroom, Two Walk-in Closets and a divine Master Bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub.
